If you are new to the ideas of magical practice, consider also attending the Magical Practice Foundation on August 18th. 

If you’ve ever wondered what the Grimoires are and where they came from, and are curious about summoning “demons” and what that’s all about, or are interested in the Western Magical Tradition or magic books in general this two part class could be for you.  We’ll look at the origins of the Grimoires in the ancient West, the history of their evolution, contextualizing their place in culture from antiquity to today.  Then we will introduce the spirits and personae that reside within the pages, unpack some of the tools and techniques, summarize the process and prepare to bring a spirit practice to life.  This class can be approached from both an historical and a practical perspective.
