Tarot Workshop with Kyla Quigley

Tarot Workshop with Kyla Quigley

This three hour workshop will be a crash course in the tarot, discussing the card meanings of both the major and minor arcana. We will explore the ways that cards interact to form a story in a reading and discuss different methods of reading and laying out the cards. By the end of class, everyone will have a chance to practice reading themselves. This class is intended to lay the groundwork for a tarot practice, welcoming to beginners and experienced readers who'd like to hear another perspective and join the discussion. Due to the length of the class and the amount of rich material that we'll have to cover, it is recommend that everyone come prepared to take notes. Audio recordings for reference are welcome.

About the Instructor: Kyla Quigley began her journey with the tarot over 15 years ago when she picked up a used copy of a tarot deck and guide book. The cards provided opportunity for self reflection during some difficult times. Kyla then began reading for friends, delving deeper into the card meanings. Her reading practice has developed naturally, influenced by her teaching hatha yoga, years of practice, and research. Kyla now reads privately, for events and every Sunday at Alder and Vine in Belfast, ME.

Class: $50 per person
