January 23rd, 2020 is the last class in this series. Come check it out!
Hosted by Suzanne Stone.
Come traverse the year honoring our tree allies all around us. Each monthly class we will meet two (three in July & November) trees that live in Maine, some native to this landscape & some originating elsewhere, learning of the folklore, magic & medicine surrounding each one. Each person will chose one tree to be their ally for the entire year. We will learn identification skills, keep a tree journal & create magically with the trees. An herbal, often tree based, tea will be served each class.
First class is Monday, January 21st, 5:30-7 pm, meeting Pine & Cedar which will be the focus for the month of January. Classes will be held near the end of the month to meet the upcoming trees. As a group, we will decide on the best days for the classes. The last class, December 2019, will be a time of sharing of our tree allies, gift giving to each other & to the trees.
Trees of each month are as follows:
January: Pine/Cedar
February: Poplar/Spruce
March: Maple/Birch
